FKKG UNPRI Conducts Student Psychological Assessments, A Tangible Effort to Support Second-Semester Academic Success
UNPRI's Commitment to Prioritizing Student Well-being and Providing Holistic Support for Future Medical Professionals
Medan, April 20, 2026 — The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences (FKKG) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan conducted Psychological Assessments for all registered 2nd-semester students on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Class B-1202, UNPRI Campus. Involving a total of 137 students, the activity was divided into two sessions — Session I from 08.00–11.00 WIB (68 students) and Session II from 13.00–16.00 WIB (69 students). This division ensured an optimal and standardized assessment process.
This assessment was organized as part of FKKG UNPRI's commitment to supporting holistic student academic success. The activity aimed to identify factors influencing learning difficulties, from both cognitive and non-cognitive aspects, allowing the institution to provide targeted and evidence-based responses. This approach reflects the belief that academic success is not only determined by intellectual ability but also by psychological conditions, motivation, and other personal factors that need to be comprehensively understood.
During the implementation, each participant took part in two main activities: filling out learning difficulty identification questionnaires and performing psychological tests covering intelligence and personality. These instruments were selected to produce a thorough academic and psychological profile of the students. This aligns with UNPRI's Sociotechnopreneurship vision in prioritizing human resource quality. The assessment results will serve as a basis for individualized academic recommendations and psychological interventions if necessary.
Through this activity, FKKG UNPRI emphasizes that attention to student psychological well-being is an inseparable part of educational quality. By understanding student profiles early, the faculty hopes to provide more personal and effective academic mentoring.
