IBT-UNPRI Officially Inducts 40 Tenants for the 2026 Business Incubation Program
Kick Off Meeting Marks the Start of Intensive Mentorship for Innovative and Globally Competitive Startups
Medan, July 9, 2026 — The Business and Technology Incubator of Universitas Prima Indonesia (IBT-UNPRI) officially launched its Business Incubation Program with a Kick Off Meeting themed "Commitment of IBT-UNPRI Tenants." The event was attended by 40 selected students from the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNPRI, marking the beginning of their intensive business development journey.
The meeting served as a platform to align the participants' understanding of program objectives, implementation mechanisms, and key performance targets. More than just an orientation, this session established a strong commitment between IBT-UNPRI and the prospective tenants to build a structured and impactful entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Head of IBT-UNPRI, Dede Ansyari Guci, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized that this program goes beyond standard entrepreneurship training. "Commitment is the primary capital for building a business. Great business ideas will not flourish without discipline and consistency. Through IBT-UNPRI, we provide mentorship to help students create innovative ventures that positively impact the economy," he stated.
Throughout the session, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the incubation workflow, ranging from mentoring and market validation to business legality and access to strategic partnerships. The interactive Q&A session reflected the students' enthusiasm for building technology-driven startups.
Prospective tenants will now undergo structured coaching from academic and industry mentors until they reach the commercialization stage. IBT-UNPRI reinforces its role as a hub for entrepreneurship that fosters resilient and adaptable young entrepreneurs.
