The Inauguration Of The New Leadership Of The UNPRI Pekanbaru Student Organization To Accelerate Innovation In Research And Scientific Creativity In Riau Province
Pekanbaru, June 29, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Pekanbaru, known as the most magnificent private university in Pekanbaru, officially inaugurated the UNPRI Creative board for the 2026 period on Saturday (June 20, 2026). This inauguration serves as a strategic momentum in strengthening the role of student organizations as a hub for fostering creativity, innovation, and exploring student potential within the campus environment.
The solemn ceremony held at the UNPRI Pekanbaru campus was attended by the university leadership, including Director Dr. Salman Faris, S.Si., M.M., Deputy Director III Dr. Raspan Hamdi, M.Psi., Psychologist, Head of Finance Bureau Julianna Br Ginting, S.P., and various Heads of Study Programs. The presence of these leaders reflects the institution's full support for the development of an active and productive student organization.
Interestingly, the inauguration was held in a hybrid format, connecting PSDKU Pekanbaru via Zoom Meeting with the inauguration of the UNPRI Creative board at the Medan Main Campus. The virtual event was attended by Deputy Rector III, Dr. Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., along with various faculty deans, further strengthening the synergy and sense of kinship within the greater Universitas Prima Indonesia family.
In his remarks, the Director of UNPRI Pekanbaru expressed his hope that the new board would become a driver of student creativity, generate innovative work programs, and contribute significantly to the development of the campus and society. Concurrently, Deputy Director III emphasized that through UNPRI Creative, students are expected to build character, leadership, and solid teamwork to elevate the campus's reputation at the regional and national levels.
As the top choice campus, UNPRI Pekanbaru guarantees that every student can graduate on time with the support of an inclusive academic atmosphere.
