ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR KEDISIPLINAN DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KINERJA KARYAWAN DENGAN MOTIVASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA RUMAH SAKIT ROYAL PRIMA MEDAN

The control of work employees’ performance in Royal Prima Hospital is ineffective; it can be showed by verbal evaluation. The evaluation was found that there were employees who came late, the lowest employees’ motivation and the irresponsibility of employee. The standard operational procedure was told well to them but they did not do their commitment well. This atmosphere was influenced by the low of Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR). According to Department of Health (2005) the standard of BOR is from 60% to 85%.. This researched was used correlation research with cross sectional approach. It was investigated the dependent and independent variable in the same research. The population in this research was the entire Royal Prima Hospital employee. The number of population was 327 employees. The probability sampling technique used simple random sampling. The sample of it is 175 people. This research used Path Analysis with Bayesian method. The independent variable was work environment and discipline. The dependent variable was employee performance (Y2) and motivation (Y1). The finding of the research was showed that the equality of Y1, the determination of coefficient (R2) was 26.3%. It was influenced of discipline variable and work environment. The quality of Y2, the determination of coefficient (R2) was 42.4%. It was influenced by motivation and work environment. It was found the quality of Y1 (motivation) as variable intervening in Bayesian method. The significantly influenced was work environment, discipline variable had the small influence (not significant) and the equality of Y2 (employee performance). The significantly influenced was discipline and motivation. The work environment had low influence (not significant).
