Taking Strategic Research Global: Doctoral Students of FEB UNPRI Present Innovations at SIBR Conference Osaka
Strengthening Indonesia's Research Position through Academic Visits to The University of Tokyo
Medan, July 8, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to international research by participating in the prestigious SIBR (Society of Interdisciplinary Business Research) International Conference held at the Ark Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi, Japan, from July 2–4, 2026. Five doctoral (S3) Management students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNPRI successfully presented their cutting-edge research during the event.
The delegation included Jholant Bringg Luck Amelia Br Sinaga, Herlina Novita, New Vitta Destty Marbun, Saut Boang Manalu, Indah Lubis, and alumnus Dr. Capt. David Ginting. The delegation was accompanied by renowned promoter Professor Wilson Bangun.
The SIBR conference is a vital forum for global academics and practitioners to discuss interdisciplinary innovations in business, economics, and management. This participation not only elevates UNPRI’s international profile but also strengthens Indonesia's research standing on the global stage, aligning with the national vision for the globalization of higher education.
Following the forum in Osaka, the delegation continued their International Community and Field Trip program in Tokyo. On July 6, 2026, the team visited Asia's top-ranked institution, The University of Tokyo. During the visit, the delegates visited the iconic Hachiko statue, reflecting on the values of loyalty, boundless dedication, and commitment to the advancement of science.
This achievement proves that FEB UNPRI fosters an academic environment capable of producing strategic thinkers who are globally competitive and adaptive to modern management dynamics.
