Noise is an element that is polluting the environment that can interfere with human health and comfort of the environment. For physical development activities such as transporation facilities shall be controlled so that noise levels do not exceed the limits that can cause health and human activities around it.

The results obtained that the railway noise exposure levels are above the threshold with a distrance of 3 meters is 107.84 dB (A), a distance of 8 meters is 97.65 dB (A), exceeding the Threshold Limit Value, while at a distance of 13 meters 84, 55 dBA and 18 meters of 72.45 dB (A) not exceed the Threshold Limit Value. The number of respondents who have complaints about 45 people (55.6%) and that no complaints had as many as 36 people (44.4%). From the results of Chi-Square test that there is a connection with complaints of noise exposure levels in public health pinggran railroads with significant value of 0.001.

Advice on this research is to the people who live on the outskirts of the railroad to use protective equipment noise that can reduce the noise level received each day, to reduce persistent health complaints.
